I believe every person has a unique path to vibrant health and my job is to keep that goal in mind, providing guidance and options along the way.
I believe too many people settle for a negative definition of aging. I don't accept that aging means 'falling apart on schedule' and suffering with the passage of time. I have a high standard for my physical, mental, and spiritual health, improving every year. I hold the same vision for my patients.
The tools I use to fulfill my purpose include providing authentic leadership, sharing knowledge, offering effective treatments, and continually improving my skills and education. I am grateful for my work and the people I serve, and steadfast in my commitment to fulfill my purpose.
I received my doctorate from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2001. After completing an internship in integrative medicine with Andrew Weil MD, and a residency in McMinnville, OR I decided to focus my enthusiasm, talents, and knowledge in building bridges between conventional and personalized / Integrative medicine.
I founded HormoneSynergy® Clinic to help people achieve vibrant health, ideal brain function, and longevity. As a specialist in holistic medicine, I understand the role balanced hormones and neurotransmitters play in all areas of health. I completed two fellowships in preventive cardiology through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine with Mark Houston, MD .
I attend and both lecture and teach at various age management, hormone and brain health seminars and conferences yearly, with gratitude to the mentors and physicians who've influenced my work-- Peter Attia, MD, Rebecca Glaser, MD, Thierry Hertoghe, MD, Daniel Amen, MD and Dale Bredesen, MD (Bredesen Protocol™).
I recommend effective, evidence based natural therapies, lifestyle changes, pharmaceutical medications if and when necessary and use bioidentical hormones to address the underlying causes of hormone imbalance to help restore health and vitality.
I am currently licensed with full prescribing authority in the states of Oregon and Washington.
